Experience the art and culture of the legendary Samurai warriors at Start this month with music and storytelling performances; discovery and drawing tours; art making and movement in sculpture and choreography workshops; and enjoy a cultural feast for your senses in Samurai.

Sounds of Samurai Performances by oriental jazz ensemble San Ureshi
Inspired by the Samurai exhibition, contemporary compositions featuring a trio of South Australia’s most accomplished musicians will transform the narrative displayed on the Gallery’s spectacular pair of six panel screens.

  • Book into activities on arrival.

  • Capacity restrictions apply. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

  • Remember to maintain social distance, wash your hands, and use hand sanitiser frequently. AGSA has increased cleaning on the premises.

Dress up in your favourite colourful clothes or costumes at home and come be part of a fun day at the Art Gallery. We’ll have our GIANT TURTLE and MURRAY COD along with Evelyn’s other colourful creations! See you there

WOMADELAIDE 2020

It’s that time of the year again and we will be back at the wondrous WOMADELAIDE 2020. This year Evelyn has created a flying fox / bat for kids of all ages to experience, Batty will be joined by Dungy our Dung beetle and our Dinosaur! New costumes and much more! See you there!!

The Bait Fridge is a wickedly creative art collective bringing action, colour and costumed chaos to Start. Build a monster mask, be captured on-set in your wild new form, and join the creature collective!

Start at the Gallery is held on the first Sunday of every month. Parent/carer supervision is required.

Our Giant Turtle will be at Civic Park, Modbury for City of Tea Tree Gully, SUMMER GARDEN EVENT on Saturday 15th February

Evelyn’s Nylon Zoo will be part of the big day!! Come along for a great day / night out!

Enjoy world-class Fringe performers, gourmet food and drinks from Fork on the Road, licenced bar from The Grove with a huge variety of local beverages and free children's entertainment in the beautiful natural surrounds at this free community event.

With 21 artists and 35 performances across 3 event spaces there is sure to be something for everyone!

Welcome to 2020 and the World of Evelyn Roth Arts

Well here we are, a few weeks into the new decade and life is a buzz here at Evelyn Roth Arts. Evelyn has been busy sewing as well as being interviewed for the prestigious BUFFALO magazine where she will be a featured artist in the upcoming February 2020 edition.

On the events front, we have many coming up including the City of West Torrens, The Kings Fork event on Saturday 8 February, 5pm - 10pm at Kings Reserve, Cnr Ashwin Parade and South Road, Torrensville. START at the Art Gallery of SA on Sunday 1st of March and of course WOMADELAIDE 2020.
